Description: Performed a baseline condition stream assessment for several streams to support permitting for a coal mine in west-central Illinois. The baseline stream assessment included a detailed stream survey which included water quality analysis, fish sampling, macro-invertebrate sampling and physical habitat characterization. The project included facilitation with the regulatory agency (IEPA), development of a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) and detailed reporting. Project was completed under critical timeframe despite several storms that delayed the progress of the stream sampling. |
