Northwater Principal James Adamson Receives Prestigious Applied Hydrogeology Award

We are thrilled to announce that James Adamson, Principal at Northwater, has been awarded the Applied Hydrogeology Award by the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH). This distinguished honour recognizes James’ exceptional contributions to the application of hydrogeology, which have had a profound impact on water security and addressing water challenges at both local and regional levels, particularly in developing nations. The award was presented at the IAH Congress in Davos, Switzerland in September 2024.  James was honoured to have his long-time colleague Jonas Bernasconi accept the award in-person on his behalf.
