Description: Served project oversight role for the design and construction of a community water system for a rural village of 4,000 people. Project includes capturing a mountain spring and constructing a 12,000-foot pipeline to convey water to the population center. Work in the village includes a 22,000-foot distribution network with private connections and public water access.  The program includes investments to develop a community water committee to establish rules, manage the system, collect revenues and maintain a sustainable source of water in a transparent manner. The system promotes sustainability for the village so that it does not rely on continuing outside aid.
