Port-au-Prince area Groundwater & Geophysics Study

Synopsis

Characterized the geologic and groundwater conditions for several communities in the greater Port-au-Prince area. Initial reconnaissance was performed followed by the application of electromagnetic geophysics in targeted areas to characterize subsurface conditions and provide drilling recommendations. One community did not have good groundwater prospects and alternative water supply options were presented.

Initial reconnaissance was performed followed by the application of electromagnetic geophysics in targeted areas to characterize subsurface conditions and provide drilling recommendations.
