Synopsis

Northwater led a geohazards assessment to guide a safeguards program for infrastructure investments in Gonaives, one of the largest cities in the Caribbean. Geologic, structural and geomechanical mapping was performed, in addition to seismic surveys to support zoning of seismic and liquefaction hazards.
